Which Winkler County towns do we serve?

We serve both Winkler County ZIP codes, shown below with each town's 2020 population. Rural homes, yards and lease sites are served by address. Winkler County had 7,791 people in 2020. A small part of Monahans also lies in this county, and we deliver there the same way.

The Kermit page covers frac-sand truck traffic, the recycling center and in-town placement.

Where can Winkler County debris go?

We could not verify which landfill serves this county's two towns, so we do not name one. The City of Kermit's Solid Waste office, at 110 S Tornillo St, lists a Citizens Collection Station and a recycling center. Call 432-586-3468 before you self-haul anything.

For a big cleanout or remodel, a roll-off avoids the question: you load it for 7 days and we haul it. Check banned items on what you can put in a dumpster before you load.

Can a dumpster go beside a Winkler County road?

We could not find a published Winkler County rule for roll-off dumpsters on county roads or in the right-of-way. Call the Winkler County offices before placing one there. Keeping the roll-off on your own property, away from the sand-truck routes, settles it.

Lease and yard sites also need the owner's OK. The placement guide shows the approach length a Winkler County drop needs.

What makes rural Winkler County drops different?

Heavy truck traffic and gated sites shape rural drops. Oil has been part of the county since the Hendrick field opened in 1926, and sand mines now surround Kermit. Pick a spot off the road with firm ground, and share a gate code or site contact.

Sand, caliche and dirt from a Winkler County yard go only in the 10 or 15-yard, filled halfway. See concrete and dirt dumpsters.

What goes where in Winkler County?

Every Winkler County drop-off we could verify is run by the City of Kermit: a recycling center and a Citizens Collection Station. The recycling center takes cardboard, paper, aluminum and #1 and #2 plastic only. We found no verified landfill for the county, so call Kermit City Hall before any self-haul trip.

How do our trucks reach Kermit and Wink?

Our trucks reach Winkler County on SH 302, west from Odessa past Notrees and into Kermit. From Kermit, SH 115 runs southwest through Wink and on down to I-20. Give the dispatcher the street address or a GPS pin for any Wink drop, plus the highway you turn off.

In Kermit, SH 115 passes the Winkler County Courthouse downtown, an easy landmark to name. Sand mines surround Kermit, and frac-sand 18-wheelers crowd its roads, so pick a drop spot well off the highway.

Winkler County dumpster rental questions

Do you deliver roll-off dumpsters to Wink?

Wink, ZIP 79789, is on our ZIP list. It is a small town of 915 people in 2020, founded on the Hendrick oil field in 1926. Give us the street address or a GPS pin when you call. Price, days and included tons are the same as in Kermit.

Which landfill takes Winkler County trash?

We could not verify which landfill serves Kermit and Wink. The City of Kermit runs a Solid Waste office and a recycling center, and it lists a Citizens Collection Station. Call Kermit Solid Waste at 432-586-3468 for self-haul questions, or rent a roll-off and let us haul it.

What size dumpster fits a Winkler County yard cleanup?

A yard cleanup with old lumber, fencing and junk usually fits the 30-yard dumpster, which includes 4 tons. A big yard full of bulky debris may need the 40-yard, with 5 tons. Sand, caliche and dirt never go in those; they need a 10 or 15-yard, filled halfway.

Can I get a dumpster at an oilfield yard between Kermit and Wink?

We drop roll-offs at yards and lease sites when the truck has a firm, straight road in. Share a GPS pin, the yard's gate code and who will be on site. Light trash fits a 20 or 30-yard; dirt or concrete goes in a 10 or 15-yard, filled halfway.
